FOR THE GOOD TIMES: IT'S TWILIGHT TIME

http://beachreader2.blogspot.com/2009/07/its-twilight-time.html

FOR THE GOOD TIMES. Life in the Pacific Northwest - Books, Music, Gardening, Movies, and everyday thoughts on life. Friday, July 03, 2009. Two weeks ago we took a quick trip the the ocean, ostensibly so I could view the sunset over the Pacific on the summer solstice as part of my - ahem - 60th binrthday gift to myself. We found a little cabin. Near the gorgeous Rialto Beach. So enjoy the pictures and if you've read the books, you can imagine the setting a little better. I love seeing these again!

FOR THE GOOD TIMES: REVIEW: Still Alice by Lisa Genova

http://beachreader2.blogspot.com/2009/01/review-still-alice-by-lisa-genova.html

FOR THE GOOD TIMES. Life in the Pacific Northwest - Books, Music, Gardening, Movies, and everyday thoughts on life. Saturday, January 24, 2009. REVIEW: Still Alice by Lisa Genova. I wasn't quite sure how I'd react to reading a novel about Alzheimer's disease. Having a mother who is 89 and suffering from dementia, it might come too close to home. But the rave reviews convinced me to read this. And I am so glad I did. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. I love to review books!
