Thursday, September 23, 2010. So, we are officially 2 days into Fall. It's still quite warm here, but it's breezier, the air has a bit of lightness to it, and every now and then I can almost feel a coolness once the sun goes down! My favorite thing about Fall and cooler weather is that I get to bust out my cinnamon-y candles and burn them all day long. For inexpensive yet great smelling and scent-packed candles, I usually get the Mainstay brand from Wal-Mart. Coffee tastes better when it's cooler out!

Thursday, July 29, 2010. La musica de ayer de la cuba (the Music of Yesterday's Cuba). I discovered a documentary about 10 years ago that remains my very favorite the culture, the history, the sound - amazingness. Have you seen this? Incredible documentary, incredible soundtrack. The story of a collection of Cuban musicians brought together again about 4 decades after making their marks as young artists. So much talent and so much richness! I am most fond of Ibrahim Ferrer. RIP) whose voice I adore.

Thursday, October 7, 2010. It was twenty years ago in June. I had a patient today who was born the month I graduated from high school! It inspired me to dig out an old pic this is me the day before graduation in June of 1990. What! Time really flies. I am constantly amazed as I flow down this lil river of life. I feel like I've changed so much, yet am so much the same too! I definitely do not feel "my age," and continue to marvel at the sweetest, simplest things. Is that the trick? My weekend starts NOW!
