Friday, May 21, 2010. Living off the land.I mean roof. Stay tuned to see how my garden grows! June 4, 2010 at 10:00 AM. June 5, 2010 at 3:18 PM. I cannot wait to actually be able to consume some of what we are growing. We planted basil, dill, cilantro, thyme, oregano, 3 different kinds of tomatoes, jalapeno, green bell, red bell and cowhorn peppers. Perhaps I was a little over zealous :-) We shall see. Good luck with your harvest! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A week until my first festival.

Gems By Jeanne Marie: April 2015

Gems By Jeanne Marie. Wednesday, April 29, 2015. GIRL READING - Inspired By Reading Book Club. April 2015. I woke up one morning thinking I wanted to represent the painters in the story. I thought about how to depict the painter's pallet in a jewelry design. So, here we have what is to be a pendant. I'll add a ring or bail of some kind and probably hang it from a copper chain. Visit Andrew Thornton's blog to see who else played with us this month. Jeanne @ Gems By Jeanne Marie. Monday, April 20, 2015.

Gems By Jeanne Marie. Thursday, August 6, 2015. Swamplandia – another edition of the Inspired By Reading Book Club. I was disappointed to miss last month. I was traveling once again busy on Long Island attending retirement parties, family events and participating in the Sag Harbor Arts and Crafts Fair. In case you’re wondering (and even if you’re not), in spite of the pouring rain, I had a good show, with follow up opportunities. The obvious inspiration for this book would be alligators. So, as I rea...

First up are my offerings for April's birthstone. New earring cards for Ollie's Cafe and Gift Shop. Inspired by Sarajo Wentling. Created for a 6 year old's April birthday! Looks like...

Gems By Jeanne Marie. Wednesday, July 2, 2014. The Drunken Botanist Inspired By Reading. By Amy Stewart is one of those books that I will need to buy. Stewart combines science, history, folklore and recipes to introduce us to “the plants that create the world’s great drinks”. It’s a book that I will continue to return to just to read a small snippet. And used a leafy rubber stamp to represent the grain. This is my first cuff like this, and I have to say I'm pretty excited with the results! I’m real...
