Dancing Beads: September 2010
http://dancingbeads-or.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 30, 2010. For the past few days I've been wandering the interwebz gathering information about Japanese lampwork beads. In my roaming, I came across a wonderful word. ten-shoku. It translates to "God-given job.". I think it eloquently touches on the joy I experience every day! Monday, September 27, 2010. Using my rather shaky footage, and some very imaginative still shots, my nephew Adam. Created this video as a way to introduce the new shop. I've posted it on the Facebook. While worki...

Dancing Beads: July 2013
http://dancingbeads-or.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 21, 2013. It's What's For Dinner. Today, I made a couple of discoveries. The first one was likely more about dumb luck than discovering anything. Did you know that if you go to the grocery store at 2:30 on a Sunday afternoon when it's 103° out you will find parking so close it's nearly in the lobby? And better yet, not only will it be nice and cool inside, the aisles will be devoid of slow moving shoppers. It was every grocery shoppers dream come true. Until I had to get back into my car.

Dancing Beads: January 2011
http://dancingbeads-or.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 11, 2011. I'm checking something out. Today, while working on my email via Vertical Response, I discovered they have a new feature. I can now link my email to twitter, and facebook with a link from Vertical Response. What I'm curious about is if I can link it here in this bloggity-blog. Yep, just as I thought. I can link, but can't embed. *sigh* Perhaps, that's in the works. Wonder if anyone has suggested it? Dear Vertical Response,. I have a suggestion.". Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Dancing Beads: July 2011
http://dancingbeads-or.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 10, 2011. Thoughts on a Sunday Afternoon. One of my favorite things to do, other than play with beads, is writing. My head can be a busy place. Writing helps me get my thoughts out, and into some semblance of order. Writing here has been challenging for me lately. There's a part of me which thinks I should be all business, and stay on topic. *yawn* When I get into that mindset, I find it difficult to let go, and well, write. Today, I've decided to blither. I don't know about you, but when I ...

Dancing Beads: Did She Make It?
http://dancingbeads-or.blogspot.com/2012/10/did-she-make-it.html
Monday, October 8, 2012. Did She Make It? Since I know the burning question on everyone's mind is whether or not I had a successful trip to the grocery store today. NOT! I know you all have much more interesting things to ponder than my personal challenge. Just in case you're curious. I did it! I was under my budget of $33.50 by $1.12, which means I could have treated myself to the avocado I didn't put on my list because I'd added a bell pepper and knew it was going to be expensive. This dish is great wa...

Dancing Beads: March 2011
http://dancingbeads-or.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 12, 2011. On a recent twirl around the interwebz I came across a picture tutorial. For a braided bracelet that I thought was wonderful! I remembered that somewhere in my jewelry box I had the main ingredient for the project. and old curb linked bracelet. Fast forward to later in the day. I'd chosen my material. I had my computer open to the picture, and was all set to go, but there was one little problem. I couldn't remember how to do a french braid! My friend Beckie came to my rescue!

Dancing Beads: A Chance Encounter
http://dancingbeads-or.blogspot.com/2012/10/a-chance-encounter.html
Thursday, October 11, 2012. The weather has been so beautiful that I've been walking to the shop for the past few weeks. Last night, on my stroll home, I had a chance encounter with one of our neighborhood turkeys! There is a flock of them the roam the area around my house. The other morning, my sweetheart encounter seven of them crossing the road on Main Street. He said they seemed unconcerned with the traffic. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Outgoing (there's an "E" in my personality type).
