Making a difference, one bead at a time. I am fortunate enough to get travel back to Uganda with a new group of Aspen Ambassadors. The changes i witness are incredible. The new NICU and Maternity wards are fantastic. Infant survival has risen from 33% to over 82%! It all started in September of 2008, or perhaps years before. Dr Ian Clark started Kiwoko Hospital as a clinic under a tree in 1988. It is now a 25-acre compound employing over 350 staff and servicing 500,000 in the surrounding community...

Founded in December 2008, Beads4Dreams Inc. Has devoted its energy to raising funds and awareness for the children and families in the communities that surround Kiwoko Hospital. Uganda through the sale of jewelry made using hand-rolled paper beads purchased directly from a women's craft group from Kiwoko Hospital.
