New Beadscrumptious Blog Post: August 2013
http://beadscrumptious.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 6, 2013. Not much has changed really . except that now I work in my shed/studio/shed, my children are slightly larger and I am now developing my own designs from scratch. It is still very exciting . and very rewarding to see the jewellery that people make using my lampwork beads. You can't always tell what your beads are going to look like until you remove them from the kiln but this time I was really pleased because they came out of the kiln exactly as I wanted them to. Hello, I have bee...

Wednesday, May 29, 2013. Polymer Clay Challenge : May 2013. I have been playing it quite safe with these polymer challenges so far mainly because I haven't had the time to make anything too extravagant. That doesn't mean the ideas aren't there. Believe me I have loads of beads/ideas I want to make but unfortunately I just don't have the time. I do record everything in my sketchbook so the ideas don't get forgotton. I used the beads to make a very long necklace and matching bracelet. I combined the po...

Friday, March 29, 2013. I am so excited! I don't know if I should admit this but I am a serious Doctor Who fan and my excitement (in a little kid waiting for Christmas . kind of way) is because it will be back on our television screens tomorrow evening . Yipeeeee! Everything stops in my house for Doctor Who. I have converted my children (even the cat comes in to watch it) and it has become a family tradition just like it was when I was a little girl. Although I am sure it was more scary then! Each one of...
New Beadscrumptious Blog Post: Will I ever get back to shed/studio/shed?
http://beadscrumptious.blogspot.com/2015/02/will-i-ever-get-back-to-shedstudioshed.html
Tuesday, February 3, 2015. Will I ever get back to shed/studio/shed? So, it has been a long time since I have been in the shed/studio/shed making beads and I have to say I am slightly nervous about switching on that torch again. I have been incredibly busy over the last year and had to put the beads on hold … but I have really missed disappearing out to my shed and making a few glassy creations. Monday, June 25, 2012. Floral Beads - The Development of the Stamen! I am always striving to improve my beads and to find a new challenge! I can't help myself my brain is always working ahead of me on the next bead or next project and for a long time I have had this niggle in the back of my mind . "why not add stamens to my floral beads? Whilst they look pretty and almost like trapped flowers with the plunged dot in the centre, they would look much more realistic with stamens! There must be a way to make...

Tuesday, January 29, 2013. This year I decided to start a new polymer clay challenge as I failed so miserably to keep up with the 52 Earrings in a Year Challenge! So I am taking part in Elvira Kricks -. 12 Polymer Projects in a Year. The idea for this flower came from a couple of scribbles in my sketch book. It all happens in my sketch book! I used all the off-cuts to make a disc shaped base to rest my flower petals on as I constructed my flower. I have noticed as the flowers in my garden (and bought...

That is if you are interested . and if you aren't then I guess you won't be reading this anyway! A few years ago she went to work at Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden in South Africa and this is where she photographed this beautiful flower. New Beadscrumptious Blog Post: HAPPY NEW YEAR!
http://beadscrumptious.blogspot.com/2014/01/happy-new-year.html
Wednesday, January 1, 2014. Hello, I feel as though I have been away for too long … and I have. I think I should also explain why. I haven't stopped making lampwork beads but have had a little break for the last three months because I have been so busy. So what has been happening in the world of beads? I was also very sad to say goodbye to this set of beads. I had been secretly hoping that they wouldn't sell (which doesn't make me a very good sales person I know! Because they were one of my favourite set...

Monday, April 29, 2013. Monthly Make - April. Ok a tiara can be quite a fiddly item to make so this month I am going to balance this with a very simple challenge. This month I used my old lampwork beads to create a unique (because every one of my lampwork beads is unique) piece of wall art! Posted by Sarah Bunney Beadscrumptious. Friday, April 19, 2013. The Sea - La Mer! This bead set also represents freedom from the constraints of perfection. I have to be extremely precise when I am making implosion...
