Op eerdere feesten werden met ‘friends’ de muziekmaten bedoeld, die de band versterkten. Op 4 februari 2012 spelen de bandleden Johan Bloem, Lody Franzen, Harry Koch, Thys Wadman en Jan Zeldenrust echter met bands, waar ze eerder in gespeeld hebben. Die bands vertegenwoordigen alle vier verschillende stijlen. Zo speelde Johan Bloem contrabas in de bekende dixielandformatie DIXIE SIX.
