Wednesday, June 27, 2012. Things Taken for Granted. While in Italy I discovered that I take many things for granted. 1 Showers large enough to shave your legs in. (No wonder Europeans are such hair balls! 2 Free tap water at restaurants. 3 Free sitting at restaurants. 5 Full iPhone functionality at my disposal. 6 Queen size (soft) beds. Two twin beds smashed together does not equal a king. 7 Not being on an airplane. 14 Washing machines and dryers. 17 Really good desserts. 20 Flat irons and blow dryers.

Sunday, April 29, 2012. Aunty Meggy Visits the Duke City. Aunty Meggy came to town to play! We spent our days. Wrestling and blowing raspberries on each others bellies. We also did some climbing up in the Las Conchas area. We dug around in the dirt. We ate the dirt. Then, we explored this ancient Jemez pubelo. But, mostly we chilled, ate lots of food, and had fun! Wednesday, May 30, 2012. This past weekend we booked it on up to Villanueva State Park and hiked around the Pecos River. It was a perfect day to tube down the river, but we came unprepared so we will definitely be returning with swimsuits and intertubes in tow. Wednesday, February 29, 2012. Lately, our days have been filled with many courageous dinosaur hunts. Stringing/eating fruit loop necklaces. And just being down-right silly. That is what we've been busy doing lately. Thursday, February 16, 2012. Ski Day at Sandia Peak Resort {Ham's First Day on Skis). Yesterday it snowed a lot (for Albuquerque standards)! The roads were not plowed, schools started later, businesses had delayed openings and we went skiing! Graham skiing for the first time at 19 months!

Thursday, September 13, 2012. Things I've Learned About/From Being Pregnant. 1 Stretch pants do indeed have a limit. They are NOT one size fits all. 2 Carpal tunnel makes you feel like a clumsy weirdo. Even more so if "clumsy weirdo" is your normal state. 3 Charlie Horses have no business creeping up on someone while they're asleep. 4 The flood gates really do open and all hell breaks loose on your emotions. Here come the waterworks. 7 The phrase, "anyday now" should be taken out of the English language.
