Bay Center Community Garden. The Bay Center Community Garden grows healthy fresh produce for the Northern Neck Food Bank. Wednesday, April 11, 2012. It's spring and things are starting to grow in the garden. Our strawberries have flowers, and the thornless blackberries are leafing out. We have planted kale, collards, carrots, cabbage, broccoli, potatoes, radishes, peas and lettuce. Everything is beginning to pop out of the ground. It is all very exciting! Please stop by any time to explore.

Our plants are growing in leaps and bounds. This week we were able to harvest nearly 13 pounds of produce to donate to the Northern Neck Food Bank. This week we found some baby bunnies! I know, it shouldn't be exciting because they'll probably eat all our fall seedlings.but they are quite cute. Here is a picture of one of them.
