Lots of people use bloated gems to manage the linking or even write there own but to me these are just over engineered for my needs. Welcome to Beardyjohn.com. Over the coming months (well, years! I will be documenting my ups and downs as I build my first kit car, a Haynes Roadster based on the excellent book by Chris Gibbs. The Haynes Roadster is a modern update on the classic Lotus Seven designed by Colin Chapman. Although its called a kitcar there is no actual kit of parts to start with, only what you can find/buy/scrounge/make yourself; with the addition of a Ford Sierra donor vehicle.
