Friday, October 31, 2008. The Kid says "Happy Halloween". JK about the last post. Lots of things have been happenin in Duder's life. Monday, March 31, 2008. Edward Michael "Bear" Grylls (born 7 June 1974), known as Bear Grylls, is a British mountaineer, adventurer, author, television presenter, and motivational speaker. Grylls, a former member of the Special Air Service (SAS), made his name in 1998 by becoming, at the age of 23, the youngest Briton to climb Mount Everest and return alive. Grylls no longer serves in the British Special Forces but he was awarded the honorary rank of Lieutenant Commander in the UK's Royal Naval Reserve.
