The Complex Crafter: May 2011
http://thecomplexcrafter.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Monthly To Do List. Tuesday, 17 May 2011. My first purchase on our exciting overseas trip. Well Rob and I got off the plane in Seattle and we're picked up by new friends Tom and LeDonna who had kindly invited us to stay with them for the few days we were in Seattle. Well 5 minutes down the road from the airport I discover that I've left me new prescription sunglasses on the plane and I haven't seen or heard of them since, not much help from Alaskan airlines on that one. Now for those of you who look at t...

Monthly To Do List. Saturday, 9 March 2013. Monthly to do lists. I'm a big one for to do lists . . . writing them anyway. Not so good as following them, and i've been known to add something I've done that wasn't on the list just so I can cross it off for that wonderful feeling of accomplishment . that's not cheating is it? And sign up along with us. Now my to do list. 1) Make Mug wrap for Mum. 2) Finish sashing and borders for Alaskan/Canadian wild animal batik quilt. Hmmm, I may need to prioritise these...

The Complex Crafter: Finished YAY! ... well sort of
http://thecomplexcrafter.blogspot.com/2013/02/finished-yay-well-sort-of.html
Monthly To Do List. Tuesday, 26 February 2013. OK so I decided this morning to take all 3 projects as I had 'just a little bit' of the binding left to do and then I could choose one of the others to do 'fun' stuff on. Grrrrr. don't you hate it when there's more left than you thought! I didn't have 1 and a bit sides left to stitch, I had 3 and a bit side so it took my the whole 4plus hours to do, well along with some chatting and snacking. Perhaps I need to start a "label your quilt" group? Oh well, one d...

Monthly To Do List. Tuesday, 26 April 2011. My SIL Bronwyn of Korrumburra quilters has encouraged me to do a blog, but I'm a bit lost as it's all new and pretty much Greek to me! Here's a picture (I hope) of one of my first art quilts, hope you like it. I was inspired by a beautiful picture of lillies on a pond and this is the end result. The Complex Crafter: March 2012
http://thecomplexcrafter.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Monthly To Do List. Friday, 16 March 2012. I've joined Sandra's 'Cherry Heart' blog for having a pretty crafty home and been inspired to get on with my 'must do' lists. So yesterday I took some photos of my craftroom and the MESS it's in (Bronwyn you'll be surprised, it's sure not it's tidy self). Here goes. We had the grandkids visiting then several projects finished in a hurry and you know how once you 'stash' some mess in a room it seems to grow all by itself? The above is the outcome. It's sooo cute,...
