Our Memories and Photos. Monday, May 11, 2015. Saturday morning for Chris' birthday, Nick and I went to QuikTrip to get Chris a drink! As we were riding in the car, Nick says: "we made a mothers day card last night" I said: "you did? He said: "yeah, but it's not for you, it's for mothers day. me and daddy had to hide it so you didn't think it was for you." :-) (by the way he had markers up to his elbows. heeee heee.). Thursday, October 27, 2011. Headed out for his {first} basketball practice. I asked him to show me how he was feeling and this is what he did. I think he may be excited about basketball practice! Wednesday, May 22, 2013. Tate's 2nd Birthday Roundup! For Tate and Ashley's 2nd birthday we went with a cowboy/cowgirl theme. It's hard coming up with boy/girl ideas for a party! But this one turned out really cute, and since both of the kids were really into horses at the time, it was perfect. The covered wagon dessert table. Horse feed: popcorn and apples. Saturday, May 19, 2012. So Blastball is intended to teach the kids the basics of the game and get used to playing a team sport. There is only a first base (and when you step on it it squeaks! Here he is after getting to first base after his first hit. He was pretty proud of himself! So the first game he stood out there with his arms crossed, huffing about not catching any balls. But after a couple games, he figured it out and got right in there. He had several really great stops, using his mitt even!
