Hours: Every day from 11am to 9pm. Two vibrant sisters and their husbands, Florence and Dave Vanberg and Lorraine and Swan Johnson, built the building in 1952. And named it the Chuck Wagon, a burger and malt shop with homemade pies- a successful endeavor. Notice the counter stools when you stop in. they are the original hand carved stools that Jill remembers being made by Swan and Dave. Then of course, Murray Self and the infamous Murf the Surf's. Hours: Every day from 11am to 9pm. Our facility literally has a nook and cranny for everyone. The original part of the café, built in 1952, had a sign that boasted it could feed 1000 people, 20 at a time. This section seats 30 people, children are welcome and, of course, no smoking. One can enjoy a cocktail as well as a soda here. The tavern has occasional live music which gives people a chance to try out the dance floor. There have been some great parties here!
