Kerby's Story: June 2006

http://kerbys.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_archive.html

Thursday, June 15, 2006. Posted by Kerby at 7:00 AM. Saturday, June 10, 2006. Doctor Visit This Week. Posted by Kerby at 5:03 AM. Thursday, June 01, 2006. I am not feeling as well lately. I had a CT scan done last week and the results: "the tumors are growing". No surprise to me as I am feeling them more and more, especially in my back and side. I am very thankful for Vicodin (pain meds) of late! God is so gracious to me and my family. I often wonder why, but am so grateful. Posted by Kerby at 5:47 PM.

Kerby's Story: April 2006

http://kerbys.blogspot.com/2006_04_01_archive.html

Saturday, April 15, 2006. But what about treatment options? We waited to tell the children until after Thanksgiving. We sat all three of them down and began telling them how sick Daddy was and that I would probably get even sicker. I was trying to stay away from the word ‘die’. Then the youngest of the three finally asked, Daddy, are you going to die with this sickness? Posted by Kerby at 10:57 PM. North Carolina, United States. View my complete profile. Kerby's Story: September 2006

http://kerbys.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html

Thursday, September 28, 2006. Nothing in this life is permanent. Situations no matter how difficult or trying last forever, and people no matter how much you love them will ever escape this world alive. On September 11th at 5:25pm Kerby slipped away from. Kerby’s favorite Hymn was. How Sweet to die. I think it is fitting and succinctly says what he would tell each of us about life if he had the chance to do so. Farewell, vain world, I'm going home, My Savior bids me come. Sweet angels beckon from on high.

Sunday, July 30, 2006. Self diagnosis, which is why it isn't good to be an internet doc. Liver encephalopathy (portal-systemic encephalopathy, hepatic encephalopathy, hepatic coma) is a disorder in which brain function deteriorates because toxic substances normally removed by the liver build up in the blood. Tuesday, May 23, 2006. Posted by Kerby at 8:51 AM. Saturday, May 13, 2006. A very good friend of mine recently lost her mother to MS. My wife and I bought her a Peace Lily to keep in her home as a reminder of her mother. The first flower that came out on the Lily opened like wings of an angel. I took some pictures to share. A little camera magic for the halo. :o). Posted by Kerby at 4:19 AM. Wednesday, May 03, 2006. Posted by Kerby at 5:46 AM. Monday, May 01, 2006. Posted by Kerby at 3:40 AM.
