When I left you I was in Tarapoto, a sweltering jungle metropolis in the northish part of the country. This is a house I saw there. In Tarapoto I finally bought a map of Perú after 3.5 months of travel and traced my trip up to then. Doing what I do by the river. Pre first naked swim Post naked swim. So happy. This is a cool bug I took a picture of. These are sesame seed pods that Ana grew.

Today is also the third anniversary of the Pisco earthquake that destroyed so much of this beautiful place, a strange and sad day for most people who live here.
