When your Pancreas… | Presently; Thoughtfully

Newly married to a young pastor; learning to forgive; learning to live in the present – and let God take care of the rest. When your Pancreas…. When your Pancreas…. When Your Pancreas Doesn’t Give It’s Two Weeks notice…. It was the summer that I turned 21 – it was crazy hot, I had just become a Starbucks Barista, just met my then future husband; and had dropped 60-70 lbs without any change in my diet or exercise. This week the Husband and I are going on a Paleo diet, to help control my BG (blood glucose)...

The musings of a mind at rest. What I’m Reading. There are some people that God brings into your life for just a season, and Adrienne and Emma are two of them. I counseled at camp with them last summer, and we laughed and cried and prayed and planned and taught and sang and served side by side for ten weeks. We had the opportunity to fellowship at The Cheesecake Factory this weekend and I am so thankful for their laughter and gracious wisdom! God is so good! New England Camp Cedarbrook. Just give me Jesus.

The musings of a mind at rest. What I’m Reading. Of Bird Names and Red Toms (Part 1). I’ve definitely neglected this blog this summer. Even if I was motivated to keep up with it, I wouldn’t have had the time anyway. I’ve been so busy and have had one of the craziest summers of my life. These next several posts are going to be my attempt at recapping the last three months! A good teacher is like a candle; it consumes itself to light the way for others. Unknown. He carried me every moment, and for that, I ...

The musings of a mind at rest. What I’m Reading. Inspire or permeate with a feeling or quality. I didn’t have a long stretch of single years , but there was definitely a short season of my life where I was convinced I was going to remain single forever. I. Have to wait. I did. What is something that you, knowing now as a girl really about to get married, would like to have known when you were in the season of preparing for marriage but had no idea who hubby was going to be? Is this the one? He’s a ...

Newly married to a young pastor; learning to forgive; learning to live in the present – and let God take care of the rest. When your Pancreas…. Today was long, and tedious, and aggravating, and not All because of work – though it was a very generous benefactor. I mustered my courage and approached them – wary of what I would find. To my surprise and horror, they are still perfect. A lovely shade of red – firm to the touch, and sweet-smelling; seemingly still in their prime. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Today I… | Presently; Thoughtfully

Newly married to a young pastor; learning to forgive; learning to live in the present – and let God take care of the rest. When your Pancreas…. June 1, 2015. Yesterday I read part of an article about an author who wrote a memoir – a memoir out of her journal, chronically her journeys through a year’s time; and she said that she started every entry with “Today I…”. And from there the words would just unfurl and lead on from there. 8211; well, most days. One they couldn’t afford. But I am working on it; an...

Let Those Bells Ring – In Full Pursuit
https://infullpursuit.wordpress.com/2015/01/01/let-those-bells-ring
Pursuing the Presence of God. Here’s a little about me…. Let Those Bells Ring. January 1, 2015. Many see the New Year as a time of hope and joy, looking back at the last year with fondness and looking forward to the New Year, expectant. I’m not one of those people. I’ve always hated to wait until a new year is here to start a “resolution”. I’ve always laughed at people who have MADE new year resolutions. This year has changed my perspective. There was a feeling of fear–throughout the entire year...
