Tuesday, 2 March 2010. Hey, Beauly Firefighters have a new blog site. Hoping to keep you updated on all thats happening in the Highlands and Islands Fire and Rescue Service in our area. Beauly are a retained unit stationed in the Highlands of Scotland and are the Highlands and Islands dedicated swiftwater rescue unit. We attend all incidents anywhere we are called to, so you can imagine we are pretty busy. Look out for further news when it's not so dark o'clock. Stay safe out there. Front row L/R .

Sunday, 7 March 2010. A reasonably busy week last week, called out to a couple of chimney fires. We also attended Aviemore fire station on standby whilst the local crews were fighting a fire in Grantown. Quite a large furnature retailer's premises. We were turned out from Aviemore Fire Station to attend the fire in the early evening, eventually returning to our own home station at around 2am Sat morning. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
