I have seen disrespectful practices on numerous occasions at "respected" hospitals and birth centers here in Austin, Texas. I have seen care providers not stop when a woman said, "STOP! I have seen care providers administer medication into a woman's body without her consent in a non-emergency situation. I have seen care providers verbally abuse women with shame, ridicule and threats.
