Friday, April 11, 2008. Renae told me that she told Mom I was trying to come earlier and my mom replied, "she better hurry". This isn't pleasant news, but the reality of the situation. We knew this was going to happen eventually and it seems to be nearing that. We could lose her very soon. She could hang on another week or so, we just don't know. Friday, April 11, 2008. Mom's Passing - Friday, April 11, 2008. Mom passed shortly after 10 pm tonight. It's very bittersweet as we will miss her so much but the pain just got unbearable the past 24 hours and she's been fighting this for so long. January 11, 2009. Brant visits the Broseph in Ohio! Brant was really missing his brother so we sent him to Ohio to visit him. It was in between quarters so it was just what he needed to de-stress and have a little brother time. I was sad that I couldnt go but really happy that Brant was able to. June 28, 2009. Brant finished at Western Washington University! We drove up to Bellingham for his graduation ceremony- it is a relief that this part is over. Now on to the next- grad school! I let Eli borrow my point and shoot camera while I used my other one with the good zoom lens- these are some of the pictures that we ended up with. I do have to say- he's pretty good with a camera! I got distracted by my new experience with the Facebook world and life in general, and neglected my original good-faith effort to keep a blog! So, it's been a few months and it's time to get back to it! It's hard to believe that it's been that long, and yet some of the memories of that time are so vivid. May 25, 2009. Lets go to the zoo! Our weather has been so amazing, we just had to get out today. My BFF Abby and I took the kids to the zoo. They were so excited and SO good for us! What a fun day! Lilly and her brother, I mean, a gorilla! I really like this zoo because of the giraffe! I did miss the whale from the other zoo but sometimes its good to have a little change from the norm.
