The morning free play time I've also found to be a great moment for me to gather small groups in the classroom to practice grace and courtesy that may be specific to a smaller group of children. One of the children took this work a step further. I have classified cards of the scientific names of flower shapes. This child did watercolor renditions of the flowers and labeled them.
