Vielleicht ein paar Randinformationen: Ich habe meine Freundin Anni (aus alten Schulzeiten… hach, lang ist’s her! 😉 ) besucht, die dort gerade als Teaching Assistant an einer Schule arbeitet. Nach London bin ich mit dem Bus gefahren, das dauert von Lille aus ca 6h und war wirklich komfortabel. Willkommen bei den Sch'tis! Mein Jahr in Lille. Dezember 12, 2012. Ich kann gar nicht glauben, wie schnell das Semester an mir vorbeigeflogen ist. Trotzdem bin ich froh, dass ich jetzt erst einmal eine kleine Pause einlegen kann! Freue mich aber trotzdem riesig darauf, in 10 Tagen endlich nach Hause zu fahren und Weihnachten mit meiner Familie zu verbringen. Behind the center are the pylons of Bartle Hall and the gold dome of the Catholic Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. In the center is Webster House with bell tower, an antique-filled store and restaurant in a restored Romanesque-style school from 1885. The Webster School was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on September 2, 1982.
