Step by step with Daniel. Tuesday, 31 May 2011. Daniel had his operation one year ago today, and he has put in a lot of hard work and made huge gains in that time. His posture has been permanently improved, he can get his legs straight and his feet flat on the floor, and he tells us he doesn't have pain any more. Dr Dobbs phoned me from the operating theatre and said that all had gone well, and also that he thought that we will be pleased with the results. It is now midday and we are in a room on Floor 10. He is working very hard building up those muscles. Whilst at physio he has now been trying to walk just with one stick.
