Images and reflections of Jerry Holsopple. The start of the trip. September 16, 2013. Toms was the first of several former LCC International University students, who helped me with the project. Toms and I set out along the route early the first morning after I arrived. This isn’t the car we drove but it is a special one and this is where Toms grew up in Latvia. One of the questions I am asking myself is wether I should present the portraits in black and white or color. Here are two from Estonia.

I have images from the beginning point in both Lithuania and Estonia and through Riga. In the countryside and small villages the view is so different from that of these marvelous cities. Images and reflections of Jerry Holsopple. The dalle-verre style of stained glass fascinates me with the breaking of glass with a hammer an anvil. I have completed several large projects. The largest was a 12 foot tall cross made for the youth convention in Columbus. Here it is in process. It was a treat to see the light hit the fractures during the event. (A group of people purchased and donated the cross to EMU.). The Magnificat is a three-panel folding image and glass piece. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.
