Your local food pub with estuary and sea views. Our kitchen brigade – headed by Ashley – specialises in fresh local fish and is happy to prepare any requests with prior notice. Ash is assisted by Ben and Steve. Traditional roast dinners are served Sunday lunchtimes, booking is strongly recommended for this, throughout the weekend and school holidays. Your local food pub with estuary and sea views. Appledore is a small fishing village, busy in Summer, on the North Devon coast with a long history of sea-farers and shipbuilding. Shipbuilding is still carried out today in Appledore Shipyards, a large indoor shipyard now privately owned. The village, stretched along the river, is small with attractive walks along the quay and towards Bideford or Westward Ho using the footpaths.The quay is actively used by boat owners. Be heard most nights every week.
