This is Connor's blog about nature, backyard activity, and birding trips. Wednesday, July 7, 2010. It's been such a long time since I posted something here. Since I haven't been on here for a while I thought I could post something telling you about the robins we have nesting. Now we see the parents coming in every ten minutes with bunches of worms. When they come in you can see the baby birds stick their heads up and open their big orange mouths. Here are the progressive pictures taken of the family.

http://beavertonbirdblog.blogspot.com/2009/11/birds-of-monterey.html
This is Connor's blog about nature, backyard activity, and birding trips. Sunday, November 1, 2009. These are the wild birds from our trip to Monterey, California. I've waited a long time to see these. The gulls were surprisingly large. A flock of brown pelicans. These pigeons sometimes strayed into the stores. Is this a Heerman's gull? A young brown pelican. I could never figure this bird out. Any ideas? This is a funny picture! The mystery bird again. This was a pleasant surprise. Have a good week.
