The Davis Family: June 2011
http://kenandty.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 20, 2011. The Lord has placed this Psalm on my heart. it helps me to redirect my attention to Him. I hope it does the same for you. Do not fret because of those who are evil. 160; or be envious of those who do wrong;. For like the grass they will soon wither,. 160; like green plants they will soon die away. Trust in the LORD and do good;. 160; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Take delight in the LORD,. 160; and he will give you the desires of your heart. Be still before the LORD.

Saturday, April 28, 2012. I do not deserve their kindness. I do not deserve their gifts but they thought enough of me to surprise me and bless me with a shower for this baby my husband and I have prayed for. I thought it was a day of endless meetings (with FREE lunch) but when I walked in, the room was tastefully decorated, filled with the aroma of potluck style dishes by my fabulous co-workers, and shouts, cheers and tears (by me of course) of joy! And how do I know they recognize this miracle…. My Eira...

Friday, February 15, 2013. The Joys of Motherhood. It should be pretty much expected that my life of blogging has dwindled. I’M A MOMMY! That translates to not having much time to do anything but attend to my little muffin! As difficult as it has been, it has been joyous. It has been such a humbling and learning experience for ME these past 9 months! Boy, have I learned to run on E but thank God for refreshing me! I know we’re in a touch spot financially because I left my job, I know we aren’...A day in ...

The Davis Family: D- Day Part 2
http://kenandty.blogspot.com/2012/06/d-day-part-2.html
Wednesday, June 20, 2012. D- Day Part 2. Transition to the hospital was rather smooth. We each drove our own cars and the midwife met us there and checked us in. We didn’t have to do anything! Once I was checked into the room, the process began; being hooked up to various monitors, being unable to move, the nurses kept touching me and asking me questions… UGHHH! This is why I didn’t want to deliver in a hospital! And that bed is sooo uncomfortable! So bring on the petocin! But I did get my rest :).

The Davis Family: D-Day, Part 1
http://kenandty.blogspot.com/2012/06/d-day-part-1.html
Tuesday, June 19, 2012. D-Day, Part 1. Although the ceremony was long and boring (as most graduations are) I am a proud big sister and I believe Sheree may be the first person in our family (immediate at least) to receive a graduate degree! So Saturday ended as a pretty good day :). Early Monday morning (May 14th), the contractions woke me up so I began timing them. Once I realized they were close to the 4-1-1 rule, I awoke Kenny and proudly said “It’s Time! My wonderful husband went to work bright and e...

The Davis Family: December 2010
http://kenandty.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 22, 2010. There are many skills I have an interest in. Particularly sewing and crocheting (or knitting, still can’t figure out the real difference in the two! It is something I have always talked about and FINALLY took a step towards doing something about it. So, I called Tara. I knew she had a sewing machine and from my understanding she knew how to use it. I mean, can it be that hard to sew together fabric for a tablecloth? Well, it was! And I was on my way! It is not a completed pr...

The Davis Family: February 2012
http://kenandty.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 12, 2012. I remember the days of raising our godson and the “fun” of buying diapers and wipes once a month. We would take our monthly trip to BJ’s and the box of diapers and wipes would run us around $42 a month. Not bad! But boy have things changed in the past 4 years (or so I’ve been told my the people with little ones these days). She began to use cloth diapers because she realized there had to be a less expensive way to change a baby! I (and when I say “I”, it means we), ...If you do...

Monday, February 28, 2011. April 1, 2010, I turned 27! Not ashamed of my age, pretty proud of where God has brought me to! So, what did we do? I told you I’d be back! We went to Minnesota! I’ve never been and it seemed like the right time! But they do have the Mall of America! I seen it advertised on the Travel Channel as the largest mall in America, so I had to check it out for myself. (Yes, I know I don’t care to shop, but I just wanted to go! Admission for birthday guest! I know this is late but we ha...
