A Father's Perspective. Child Life, an iPad and CarePages. Emorial Hospital has an amazing program called Child Life. Aliza, a Child Life Specialist, met Katie in the emergency room when all this started. She came bearing a gift, an iPad, that Katie would get to keep with her for as long as she was at the hospital. Aliza, and her colleague, Jeri, were a key part of our support system and consistently showed up at just the right time. Katie found an online tool called CarePages. Posted Feb 8, 2012 6:20pm.

A Father's Perspective. Hursday, February 9, 2012. Everything was white and stainless steel. And it was heavy. I was shaken from my daze by Katie laughing. One of the nurses said, Nice job, Dr. Wu! We prayed again and then began one of the longest journeys of our life, the 100 steps from pre-op to the waiting room.
