Thursday, May 16, 2013. Besides hunting for alligators, here are some of the other things we did in March:. Worked in the yard. Henry got some bluebonnet seeds from his class at church, and was so excited to plant them in our front yard. I love his “I’m a serious gardener” face. Built Lego houses. Lizza spent days on this house. It has lots of secret rooms and fun tiny details. We also played games. Some of us in princess dresses. Cindy and Henry reading Angelina books together. Henry and Cindy stopped m...

Wednesday, January 21, 2015. June 2014 – Southern California Trip (Part One). A few weeks after school got out in June, we left to go on our second big family trip of the year (the first one was our Spring Break Florida trip). This time we were headed to Southern California. The kids were so excited to be able to spend time with cousins. They got up early the next morning for a fancy breakfast. And a game of catch out in the front yard: :. And some trampoline jumping:. When the baptism was over we quickl...

Sunday, May 22, 2011. Big fans of the USA. Andrew with his buddies MJ and Whitney. These are two of Katie's friends, and we owe them big for getting the biggest laugh from Andrew that I've ever heard. Whitney taught him to headbang while MJ jammed on her ukelele. At the farm. Henry loves animals of all kinds. As you can see. This is what I get when I say, "Say cheese! And he said, "I just need to stand by Jesus for a minute, Mom." Good answer, kid. On the metro. The boys LO-OVED the metro. Henry and Kate...

Monday, April 25, 2011. Henry, Henry, Henry. I think this is the one where the train has been edited out. Or else he was saying, "step off, brotha." Either way, I can see it. I don't know why, but this picture is so cute to me. Pretty standard Henry. He looks like he is about to get in trouble, so he gives this blank look, like he's totally innocent. Height of happiness. Train in hand, running away from Mommy. As close as we could get. So silly. Once again, pretty standard. 12 Things to Say.

Sunday, November 10, 2013. At the end of July, my brother, Alex, came to have some dental work done. The girls and I drove him back to Utah and stayed for 2 weeks. Mike joined us for the last few days. This picture was taken in honor of my dad, who loves driving, loves road trips, and always keeps one of these hand-strengthening things in his car. The girls are awesome travelers (especially with Uncle Alex along). My Aunt Amy so generously opened her pool to us the whole time we were there! We had a pret...

Monday, June 25, 2012. This will come as no surprise, but WE'RE MOVING AGAIN! Justin got an offer from a company he has been looking at for over a year. We are super grateful and feel like it is a good move for his career and for our family. It's in Salt Lake. Those who know me will probably guess that it has been a bit of a dilemma trying to come to terms with this move, but I am (now) genuinely looking forward to being in Utah again. 4 Things to Say:. Wednesday, October 23, 2013. Here’s Henry and Cynthia, working hard at learning how to draw giraffes:. And here’s Cindy drinking two of her favorite things simultaneously – applesauce and spinach smoothie. She’s always much more pleasant after she’s had her first sippy cup full of applesauce of the day, and she’ll never turn down a smoothie of any kind, but this was the first time I’d seen her try to combine them. 8221; And then we’d get this:. I’m never surprised when he gets older, because I tend...
