I also feel like I look like I've lost more than that. My journey to a healthier, happier Heidi. Monday, October 24, 2011. I'm one week in, and 2 pounds down. I'll be honest, I was expecting a bit more of a loss, considering the drastic change in my eating habits and increase in exercise. But 2 pounds is 2 pounds, so I'll take it. The wife of the owner at my work is a personal trainer/body builder, and I've been following the diet plan that she gave me for the past week. Here's an idea of how what I eat daily:. My journey to a healthier, happier Heidi. Monday, October 1, 2012. Remember how I was going to lose eight pounds in September? Yeah, didn't even lose 8 ounces. And it's not that I didn't try. I tried so hard. I hit the gym regularly. I ate well. I don't get it. I got my blood tested on Friday, to check for a thyroid or hormone problem. I almost hope that I have a thyroid problem, because I hear that medicine makes you drop weight. Probably shouldn't wish for that. So, game plan:. View my complete profile.

My journey to a healthier, happier Heidi. Tuesday, December 20, 2011. Weight loss this week (technically last week): 1.8 lbs. Total weight loss: 15.8 pounds. I realize I'm about 5 days late in posting this. That was my weigh in last Saturday. Practically 16 pounds down in two months, and I am feeling good. Hopefully I can keep up this 8 lb/month average. This week hasn't been great. I had horrible tooth pain Monday and Tuesday and didn't go to the gym. We'll see how things go with Christmas this weekend.

Wednesday, April 4, 2012. Basically, my life is insane. I don't know if you know this, but I work two jobs (full time in an office, and part time at a salon), and it kinda gets really crazy. My office manager just quit, and the new one is super duper part time, so I'm swamped-but I got a raise so I'm not complaining. Where did the term "swamped" come from, anyway? I could Google it, but apparently I don't care that much. Anyway, these are some things that are making me smile right now. Am I rambling?
