Strong holding hair spray- I use Aquanet. 2-4 bobby pins- I usually use 2, but if I don't feel the hold is strong enough, I'll use 4. I don't use a comb because it usually promotes gaping. For the bigger roll. 1 Part your hair [slightly] diagonally on the right and grab a couple inches. I keep my big roll on the left side. Before you start step two, spritz the piece of hair you are going to use with hairspray, then brush through it. This should promote a stronger/stiffer hold. Back view before pinning.
