The last thing these brave men and women need is to have the media, our politicians, and the very people they protect make their unbelievably difficult job even more difficult. Now I wonder, will professional athletes be wearing Thin Blue Line shirts before their games in honor of those officers who have fallen in the line of duty? Or will they continue to create martyrs out of common criminals who died breaking the law?
