The weather on the drive was warm, sunshine with big clouds. Our drive route from Paihia was mostly a repeat from our drive north. Now we are on the 9th floor and look out at the Auckland University and can see the sky building – tallest building in the southern hemisphere. 2 December 2009 – Weds. December 1, 2009. Jan 27 Tuesday evening: Fly SFO to ZHR on Swiss Air 7:25 PM flight on airbus 340 (holds 219 people). Drove up the coast to SFO. Takes about 1 hr 40 min at that time of day. Easy check in. Bags checked all the way to Czech Republic. Dinner at the xxx eagle. em had duck confit with red cabbage and dumplings. Bruce had? Time for an Adventure.
