Monday, September 17, 2012. Time is flying as usual. I could act surprised but frankly I'm not.it seems as soon as you have a child, the clock speeds up. Well, unless it's the middle of the night, you are exhausted and the baby is WIDE awake, then the clock crawls but I digress.:-) Eli's 4 month well baby check revealed that he is indeed a Well Baby but we could have told them that! In truth, he is an absolute dream baby! Healthy as can be! We are very blessed and we know it! Oh boy, who's in charge here?

Sunday, August 26, 2012. With yet another home improvement project on kyle's to-do list, the boys and I headed back to hang out with nana and papa. I'm sure they were *thrilled* to see us haul back a bunch of gear and take up residence in their living room again! This time our stay was intended to be short - not go on and on indefinitely like the last time. we were able to take advantage of the continued beautiful weather streak and spend a good deal of time out on their deck. Note to self: go back and finish 2011. the littles officially outnumber the grown ups now and we are ever-so-grateful to have had everyone able to join us this summer. last year matt's parents put on a beautiful addition to the cabin and we feel so thankful to have the opportunity to take over the joint for one weekend every year. thanks, k and k!
