Tuesday, June 21, 2011. 40 weeks and waiting. I cannot believe that any day we will have our little girl here. I keep joking that she is taking after her mom with her timing, late! I am trying to be patient, but like the skin on belly, I'm wearing a little thin. So, I bought a couple of swimsuits on-line for a trip to the beach and am now putting them on eBay to sell. I took a photo in one of them. Man am I big! I will work on getting a couple of non-bikini shots that include me head! 40 weeks and waiting.

Wednesday, December 29, 2010. Week 15, and oh yeah, Christmas! Marc and I spent Christmas here in Lancaster, PA with the Legere clan. It wasn't a white Christmas until Sunday, when the rest of the family was supposed to come out. Unfortunately, Philadelphia and New Jersey got blasted with a serious snowfall. That canceled our extended family plans for December 26th, but we will be seeing them all on New Year's Day when we go to Gram Legere's house. It's exactly what we were looking for! Monday, August 8, 2011. This weekend we took our first long trip to visit daddy. Lucy did very well on the train! 160; It rocked her to sleep even better than the car :). We went through Times Square and walked what felt like the entire city over the course of 3 days. Lucy wore her Pentwater hat given to her by Great Grandma Schrumpf to help block the sun. She loved it! The sights and sounds were pretty stimulating - so when she slept, she crashed pretty hard! August 9, 2011 at 8:28 AM.

Wednesday, July 13, 2011. Lucille Jean Legere is here! So today Lucy is 2 weeks old, and we are sort of settling into a routine that allows me to update the blog.briefly! The worst part about the timing of going into labor was that it was now 10:00 pm and Marc had been up since 4:30 am to catch a train up to New York. Once at the hospital I was hooked up to monitors that verified that I was indeed experiencing contractions. Thank God! Had those not been contractions, I would have opted for a C-Section!

Tuesday, May 17, 2011. 35 weeks, where did the time go? So we are now at 35 weeks - which means a little over a month before our little girl is due to make her big entrance into the world! We have been extremely busy preparing for her arrival. We have had many fun baby showers with friends and family! One in Raleigh-Durham, one in Chicago, one in Holland and another surprise baby shower in Pennsylvania at Downingtown Middle School! Will we ever really. Be prepared for the birth and parenthood?

Sunday, January 30, 2011. Today marks the beginning of our 20 weeks of pregnancy! The belly has been growing and growing! I feel great - lots of energy, no sickness, and now that everyone knows, it's been fun talking about our little one. My students are looking forward to learning the gender of the baby too! Tomorrow we learn the gender - so we'll be back soon with the big news! Monday, January 17, 2011. Pop goes the belly! I made the new bulletin board asking in Spanish, "what gender is baby Legere?

Wednesday, July 20, 2011. Lucy always gets extra cuddly when her belly is full. This is what makes the 2 am and 4 am feedings easier! The good news is as of Monday Lucy has made her birth weight she was 8 pounds 15 ounces - she actually gained 7 ounces in 3 days over last weekend! The lactation consultant was most impressed :) and mommy and daddy were absolutely relieved! July 20, 2011 at 9:15 AM. I cant wait to cuddle her someday.hopefully soon! So happy she is back up to her birth weight and growing!
