For those of you who don’t know, PCOS is the result of the imbalance of many different hormones and cause a nightmare of symptoms including:. 8211; Inappropriate cyst formation on the ovaries. 8211; Few and irregular periods or no periods. 8211; Inability to ovulate correctly if at all. 8211; Infertility or reduced fertility. 8211; Living with PCOS.

Major highways are closed to all traffic, there are massive train delays, police and military personnel are everywhere, you can’t bring backpacks or bags on the train, and no food or liquids on the train. It’s nuts. So, what does that have to do with this post or with PCOS? We arrived in Minnesota earlier this evening, so it’s a little late, but I need to come up with a plan, and QUICK! 1 Strict no beverages other than water and unsweetened tea.

Recording my journey with PCOS. Monthly Archives: February 2012. Ultrasound Follow Up and Weigh-In Week 16ish. Advanced Warning: portions of this post may be a little graphic for some readers! I went in last night for my follow up ultrasound. It was good and bad. The good, actually kind of great: the large cyst on my left ovary has “resolved itself”, so I don’t have to have surgery. The bad, well, pretty much every single aspect of the entire appointment. Seriously, I have an option? Happy leap year day!

When I think about what I am doing to my body, it kind of makes me really mad! I mean, I’m treating myself like shit! I deserve better than this!
