My Ride →. I Think I Know Why the Meadowlark Sings. July 22, 2015. For the amber waves for prairie grass. For the tiny butter colored butterfly that flits by. Because the smallest beauties, the clover, the dandelions are not small at all. Because the overcast sky is still partly sunny. Because summers soaking sun is the yeast of golden happiness, no, joy. And when it is not it hopes for rain. And rain, it’s balm or its majesty is drenching to the bone. And then he will rest and soak it up and soak it in.
