October 20, 2009 · 7:00 pm. The shadow of the South Dakota winter is lurking and my mind, body, and soul are about to hit rock-bottom. The thought of seven months of winter is unfathomable to me right now, and I’m unprepared for the depression that looms. Opinion or not, summer should have been the only season created when you grew up with negative 30 degree wind-chills. Oh the sweet days of summer.
