An american girl in monterrey. Wednesday, January 7, 2009. He llegado. I have arrived! It's been so crazy since I got here it seems impossible that it's only been a few days. Our flights here were pretty uneventful; when we arrived in Monterrey, we were so distracted we simply followed the people in front of us to Immigration. It wasn't until we were at the front of the line that we realized we were in the line for Mexican citizens only! Hey, that's some fancy bread! All sounds good, thanks for the post.

An american girl in monterrey. Tuesday, December 9, 2008. Today I received the information of the family I will be living with in Mexico. I'm so excited! It is a family with two sons, one is 21 and the other is 17. They live only about 20 minutes (walking) from Tec (the school I will be attending), which is very exciting :) I can't wait to meet my new family! Olivia also discovered who her family will be; she will be living only a few streets away! I absolutely cannot wait to go! Mexico here I come!
