Tuesday, August 2, 2011. The End of the Adventure. Our last twenty-four hours on the boat. I can’t believe our trip is almost over. We have traveled five hundred miles in just under a month. Monday, July 30, 2012. Wood Island Light near Biddeford Pool. At Biddeford Pool you get an added bonus – an ancient looking stone marker. This is technically not a lighthouse (no light), but at least during the daylight hours it would have been used navigationally the same way.
