Confessions of a harried (but motivated) mom. Monday, May 25, 2009. Sunday - headed home back to real life. We started out early, 6am, and started back home. Confessions of a harried (but motivated) mom. Sunday, October 11, 2009. ING Half Marathon - 10/10/09. What a great day it was! The weeks leading up to the race I was so nervous. Wasn't sure what would happen. I knew I could do the 10K, but not completely sure about the half. So that's how I knew the half was perfect for me - total challenge. :). The music was blaring, the announcer was telling us, "This is IT! All the months of training are behind you! The hard part is over! I was absolutely tingling....

Friday, April 23, 2010. When we got back Jane invited us over to her hotel to swim. She was staying at a beautiful place right on the water with 3 pools and a hot tub. The kids pool was a combination splash pool and got a little deeper. It was nice and warm! The kids had a blast, and so did the grown ups! Wednesday, April 14, 2010.
