As the title of this blog indicates, I’m working on improving my fitness. Intuitively I knew that I wasn’t fit, and now I have quantitative numbers to back that up (and to spur me on). Yesterday, I found The President’s Challenge Adult Fitness Test. So, here are my results, dismal as they are. Half Sit-ups in one minute: 20; 20%ile.

I did the President’s Challenge Adult Fitness test. Again on Sunday (May 31). I’m officially 9 percent fitter than I was a month ago. Not really – the whole thing is based on percentiles, not percentages, but this sounds better, I think). So, the results. . . Been tight. But this is the test, so oh well. 25%ile, up from 16.
