I still can’t believe that he actually sent it. It was a 2-page letter supporting me and my role as a step mom and basically telling her to back off and stop criticising me! I am so overwhelmed at how God is working in our situation and in his heart. And to set limits that work for me. Oh how my hearts sings when I read those words!

August 22, 2014. My baking cravings have continued as we dig deep into the end of summer, so last week I decided to try a new recipe: English Muffins. And this recipe did not disappoint. The muffins didn’t come out exactly like the store bought kind (less holes, not uniform in shape or size), but the flavor and texture were wonderful! She Flies with Her Own Wings. Monday, December 1, 2014. St Croix: Mostly photos but better late than never. We took a family trip to the Caribbean to celebrate Dad and Barb's 10 year anniversary! We all stayed in a rental house right on the beach on the East end of the island. It was beautiful. Each set of kids got to cook a dinner in the awesome kitchen. All the food was fabulous.
