Getting over an underbite. Blogging my way through double jaw surgery. Well I’m on day three now, but i’ll post in order. The first couple of days I didn’t have anything to do except write and sleep, so I took lots of notes. Feel free to skip over anything as I know this is long. I haven’t noticed how time has flown by since my last update until I visited this blog again today! To have one – not anymore! A few things of interest:. I can barely fit two fingers in my mouth now, and even then it’s only the tips of the fingers. So motion is still severely limited, but getting better. I am now able to chew sliced apples! Kim's Jaw Surgery. A Jaw-Droppin' Journey. Day 8: Face Ache. Day 10-15: Photos of Weeks 1 and 2 →. Day 9: Insatiable Itches. January 18, 2014. I am happy to report that I did. Wake up in excruciating pain. My soreness was gone when I woke up in the morning! However, as I write this, I have become sore from the day’s activity – which makes me think that maybe soreness is just inevitable. Swelling is going down, finally. Still a lot of it left but I can finally see a bit of progress! Day 8: Face Ache.
