Getting geared up for knitting. October 21, 2013. I learned to knit when I was a Brownie. My mother also showed me when I was small. Unfortunately, I didn’t take to it in my youth. Like many knitting newbies, I pulled my stitches so tightly that I was practically knitting iron. Uneven iron. It wasn’t until about 2 years ago that I picked up the needles/hook again and it felt great. So now that the weather is turning cool, it feels just about the right time to start some new projects.
