Becoming.the process of me. Wednesday, November 3, 2010. I feel like I can breathe again. The last 2 months have been so intense that I didn’t know if I would ever relax again. My valiant efforts of obtaining peace in the midst of the storm were still severely lacking. I feel like I haven’t seen or talked to anyone in months-unless you were unlucky enough to be in my path. ;) I could hardly even update my facebook status! Our condo is now on the market so spotlessness is mandatory and I welcome it.

Becoming.the process of me. Tuesday, February 14, 2012. Well here I am at the Kona airport, on Valentine's day, alone. Not to worry, my husband sent me off on my trip with an incredible day of adventures yesterday. This is my very first vacation apart from him and our longest time apart since being married. Not only that, it is only my second time traveling alone. One small step for most people, one giant leap for Amani. :). Vegas here I come! Destination is mainly Utah but Vegas is in the mix too) .

He left quite the loot for the kids and scattered plastic eggs filled with candy all over the house for Ayla to find and collect all morning. Ayla helped me make these raspberry cream cheese filled bunny danishes. The rest of the day was spent watching conference and being together as a family. Saturday was a full day!

Her funeral was a happy one, full of stories of her life and character, beautiful music, and lots of family. It was a really nice day and I think it was just the way she would want it to be. It was great to get to see my family! And get these to babes together again. Aren't they just precious! I really am just so grateful I was able to be there.

Getting geared up for knitting. October 21, 2013. I learned to knit when I was a Brownie. My mother also showed me when I was small. Unfortunately, I didn’t take to it in my youth. Like many knitting newbies, I pulled my stitches so tightly that I was practically knitting iron. Uneven iron.
