Becoming a Career Coach

Becoming a Career Coach. Wednesday, March 5, 2008. Last week I learned a new acronym:. I like how WAIT complements AMTT (Ask More Than Tell), quality AND quantity. Sometimes as I listen to myself I wonder what is my own point. Especially since coaching sessions are around an hour, utilizing the time with meaningful and productive communication is essential. What is my point and how can I get it across clearly and concisely. Clear and concise is a skill I'm still trying to improve. Healthy body and life.

Becoming a Career Coach. Monday, January 14, 2008. Even though I registered (and paid! For Career Coach program, I've been too busy, distracted or lazy to actually start. Always something comes up to postpone it another week. So tonight will be my first class! I'm excited to finally get going and hope to keep the momentum and finish the program by late summer. I'd better go review tonight's class materials. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Becoming a Career Coach: 30 day reflection

http://www.becomingcareercoach.blogspot.com/2008/02/30-day-reflection.html

Becoming a Career Coach. Monday, February 18, 2008. It has been one month since I started classes but haven't maintained my blog yet. Thanks to my new peer coach (a requirement of the program, be coached for 12hrs along with coaching 5 clients), I created actions to move forward. Even though I liked the idea of the blog, I was never setting aside specific time to do it. Naturally I think about all the goals I set for myself and I wonder if I know what I really want? This journey to become a Coach is quit...

Becoming a Career Coach: Self Application ~ Powerful Questions

http://www.becomingcareercoach.blogspot.com/2008/02/self-application-powerful-questions.html

Becoming a Career Coach. Tuesday, February 26, 2008. Self Application Powerful Questions. Recent classes have been on Powerful Questions, Accountability and Moving forward. Last night in Jim's class some students did terrific role-plays, which inspired me to look at an inaction of my own. What is the current situation? Not exercising regularly (or at all honestly), gained back at least 4 pounds of the 11 that I worked extremely hard last year to lose. What is it that I really want? Healthy body and life.

Personal and Business Advice. Does Your Appearance Communicate and Create Your Reality? March 1, 2010. In my last blog I talked about how I created a perception that I was tough as nails – untouchable. The appearance that I innocently created to protect myself, created for me a reality. A very lonely and unhappy reality. Appearances create perceptions and perceptions create reality. There are two ways to look at this, the perception that you are giving out and the perception that you are making. Now when...

So this is my life....  - Home

So this is my life. It's an interesting thing. Well, where to begin? I could probably start with the basics, but that could be a whole other page. No need to bore anyone with that this early into it. I've made this site to serve as a way to document my transition, to communicate my fears and thoughts. And most definitely as a place where others, who are going through their own transition, can talk and perhaps share their own thoughts. Create a free website.

Becoming Carrie

On becoming a native new yorker - from cosmos to cabs. Wednesday, September 2, 2009. Looking for Love.of Labels. But as soon as I arrived in New York, I immediately felt uncomfortable. I mean, people look GOOD here. They put thought and purpose into their sense of style. Their ambition bleeds from their tapered wrists, waistlines and cuffs. And the shoes! Wasn't the whole purpose for moving to New York to push myself outside of my comfort zone? I pulled on my track pants and bravely, if grumpily, relented.
