Pictures from the ASNC Conference Awards Ceremony! The first picture is with a couple of my classroom mothers and the second is with my wonderful family that drove such a long way to support me! Last Thursday morning I learned from three of my classroom parents that they had nominated me for Autism Society of North Carolina Teacher of the Year. and I won! So tiny in the big swing! Going to visit Granne and Grandad. One of Bryce's favorite toys. This month Jim has been working on the Pediatric Infectious Disease team at UNC. The team serves as a consult service for any other team taking care of children. This particular patient became one of the team's patients a couple of weeks ago. Jim has been caring for the boy since in an effort to prevent brain infection from the injury and surgery. A truly miraculous story that makes me proud! Miracle Baby on GMA.

Bryce and Mommy had a super busy week this week! The highlights included a great check-up with the doctor and a visit from Granne, Aunt Clair, Uncle Ken, and cousin Mary Ellen! This is a picture we took for my father as one of his Father's day presents! Mary Ellen had a great time meeting her new cousin and did a super job helping to take care of him! Our Baby Boy is Here! James Bryce Bedford arrived on May 30, 2010 at 8:54 pm. We will call him Bryce! We made our way to the hospital at about 5pm and I was already 6-7 cm dilated!
