Bloggings of a bedhead. Shhh… I’m sleeping! It’s 1 AM. March 18, 2007. And I’ve just finished typing up a draft of an essay, oh God help me I’m going to die from lack of sleep. Bloggings of a bedhead. Shhh… I’m sleeping! My receiver has gone zombie on me! Well ain’t I just lucky? I’m a subscriber to Dish Network and I have my receiver on 24/7 so it can update its firmwire and tv listings. This morning I turned it on (actually just the TV set as the machine is just displayed using inputs) and it worked for a minute, but then I tried to see what was on next and it gave me this black bar with nothing. After a 3-hour wait in Heathrow, 8-hour flight to Chicago, another 3-hour wait in O’Hare, and a 1-hour flight to St. Louis, we walked through our front door around 8:00 last night (2:00 in the morning London time).
