Thursday, January 21, 2010. 1 1/2 t salt. Then a few shakes (to taste). Of: garlic powder, Cumin, and chili powder. Put this all in a crock pot and cook on hi for 8 hours(or longer). When done I use a hand blender and the beans just blend right up. If water boils out before time is done add more water, just enough to cover most of the beans. Monday, December 28, 2009. Sleeping through the night. I have 4 kiddos and so that means 4 times getting them to sleep through the night. So now to get my babies sleeping through the night I watch to see when they are ready. Usually this is around 3 months. I know they are ready because they do 90% of the work. They sleep longer and longer as the nights go by and they even sleep through the night on occasion. Now I know they are ready, and that they do not need. To eat in the night I say need. No rush I will just wash by hand till we get a new one.(he is working going to school full time, and hardly has a minute to himself, I did not want to add to his stress) As it turns out I am enjoying doing the dishes by hand. Suck on a hard candy they are only like 20 calories, and help the cravings go away. Low cal bred can be really nice when you want to use bread. Add beans to your nachos then you do not need as much cheese. Chew gum when you have the munchies (if you can my jaw will not let me do that more then 30 minutes a day).

Lemon Angel Hair with Chicken and Spinach. 1/2 lb angel hair pasta. 4 cloves of garlic. 1/2 t crushed red pepper. 6Tlemon juice and 2-3 drops of lemon oil. 3/4 c plain yogurt. 1 c baby spinach. 3 T extra virgin olive oil. If your pasta is cooking too quickly, just take the pot off the heat, but leave the pasta in the hot water. The pasta will continue to cook, just at a slower pace. First my sis in law gave me this great idea called "mini french toast", so all you do is break up some bread (old crusty.any kind will work) into bite size pieces, mix them up with some egg and milk if you want then fry it up and top it with what ever you wish eat it just as is, add syrup, fruit.yummy home made breakfast in like 2 minutes.
